Metaldyne Ramos Arizpe Receives Gold Supplier Status Award from General Motors
Plymouth, Mich. – November 21, 2011 – Metaldyne, LLC today announced that its plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico received a Certificate of Excellence from General Motors, awarding the plant the highest honor of gold supplier status. The Ramos Arizpe plant is part of Metaldyne’s Sintered Products business unit.
General Motors awarded the certificate to Metaldyne Ramos Arizpe in recognition of the team’s “outstanding on-time shipping performance” and their “dedication and commitment to consistently perform above expectations.” The award is specific to the aftersales and service support market.
“The team at Ramos Arizpe is a fine example of the delivery standards that Metaldyne is
committed to achieving for our customers throughout the life cycle of all our products. “Aftersales support requires careful attention to detail in order to maintain consistent supply in the less predictable service environment, and I congratulate the Metaldyne Ramos Arizpe team for this achievement. It’s their consistent, daily focus on customer care that has earned this award.”
