Metaldyne Receives 2014 ZF Supplier Award
Plymouth, Mich. – December 2, 2014 – A Metaldyne wholly-owned subsidiary was recently recognized as one of ZF Friedrichshafen AG’s top suppliers for 2014. Metaldyne was one of only six companies receiving this honor from ZF, its largest Tier 1 customer.
Metaldyne Zell GmbH & Co. KG received the award based on its technology leadership for forged steel products which demonstrated exemplary quality and delivery performance and competiveness. The award was presented to Metaldyne in Friedrichshafen, Germany by ZF senior leadership including Mr. Wilhem Rehm, a ZF Member of the Board of Management.

Metaldyne supplies ZF with a variety of complex forged products, including differential side and pinion gears, hollow and full transmission shafts and several components for suspension applications, including tie rods. ZF is a global leader in powertrain, driveline and chassis technologies, with 122 production companies in 26 countries.
The award was presented to Metaldyne at ZF’s Materials Management Symposium, where ZF international experts and executive managers meet annually to share their experience and develop strategies for purchasing and logistics. This is the seventh year that ZF has presented the awards.
